Lent course
The Lent Course at Wickham Bishops will be held on Wednesday mornings in the church hall starting on Wednesday 29th February at 10.45am. There will also be an evening course on Thursday evenings, starting on Thursday 1st March at 7.30pm at the Rectory. We will be using Bishop Steven Croft's five week course "Exploring God's Mercy", looking at how much we are loved by God. Could this be something that you could do for Lent?

Music
Chris Tutin has been Organist and Choirmaster at St Bartholomew’s since August 2007. He is a Graduate in Music of London and Nottingham Universities and holds performance and teaching diplomas in piano.
St Bartholomew’s Band consists of various combinations of piano, guitar, oboe, cello, drums and vocals and usually leads the music in one service per month, normally the third Sunday. Here the music is generally more modern and up-beat in style, although we often combine this with more traditional hymns and songs within the same service. New members are very welcome, on any instrument. If you would like to be part of this group, please speak to Chris Tutin or one of the churchwardens.
St Bartholomew’s Choir is made up of experienced singers, many of whom sing with local choirs and choral societies. As well as leading worship the choir frequently sings anthems, motets and similar items. Choir practice is at 9.30am on Sunday mornings and new members are always welcome. Even if you are not able to attend regularly, we welcome additional singers at Festivals and Feast Days. If you would like to be part of the choir, please speak to Chris Tutin or one of the churchwardens.
