St Bartholomew's Quiz Night
Saturday 24th February at 7.30pm in the Church Hall. Why not get together with friends and neighbours to make up tables of six. The cost is £6 per person. Bring your own nibbles, drinks and glasses etc. There will also be a raffle. All proceeds to go to St Bartholomew's church funds. Contact Dorothy on 01621-892102 to book your place.
Church Mission Society
Rachel Ullmer from CMS will be coming to our 10.30am service on Sunday 11th March to talk about the work she does with schools in Lahore, Pakistan and the work of the Society. This is one of the charities that our parish support through our charitable giving. You can see the other charities we support under "Contact Us" / "Charitable Giving" at the bottom of the Home page of this website.
Spring Coffee Morning
The Spring Coffee Morning will be held at St Bartholomew's Hall on Saturday 17th March from 10.30am to 12.00 noon. There will be stalls, games, refreshments, cakes and a raffle. Come along and support your church.
Local Villages in Times Gone By
An Aid Event at The Barn Church, Great Totham on Thursday 15th March at 2.30pm. There will be a talk and slide show by Clive Potter about Local Villages inTimes Gone By, followed by a bring and share tea. This is a charity event and all proceeds will go to London City Mission http://www.lcm.org.uk/. There will also be a bring and buy stall. Do come along and bring your friends.
Christian Aid Concert
A Beacon Hill Churches Together event at Great Totahm URC on Friday 4th May at 7.30pm. A choir from the other side of Chelmsford will be giving the concert. There will be refershments and a raffle. Please support us and enjoy an evening with the choir.
River Cruise
We have organised a social event for church family and friends - a 3 hour river cruise from Paper Mill Lock, Little Baddow on Saturday 14th July from 12noon. The cruise will cost £20 per person including a meal. To avoid disappointment, speak to Ruth and book your place as soon as possible.
